The Delhi High Court was hearing a petition allegedly filed on behalf of a litigant. However, during the proceedings, the Court discovered that the petitioner had neither signed the petition nor authorized the lawyer to file it . In other words, the entire case was brought before the Court without the litigant’s consent or participation.
